I am a frequent contributor to arts industry podcasts and radio broadcasts, and in summer 2019 launched a blog, Scordatura, which explores ideas around digital developments, musical culture, advocacy and arts governance.
in 2010 I gained a PhD in Music Iconography, during the writing of which I contributed to peer-reviewed journals, and spoke at several International conferences.
Since my career change, I have been a guest on several podcasts focused on tech and career-change. I have also spoken very openly about the toll my music career took on my mental health, and strongly advocate for further discussion around those aspects of classical music training and professional practices which contribute to the prevalence of anxiety, depression and substance abuse in the sector.
One day, I hope to have the time and silence to write a novel. It won't happen any time soon.
